Social Skills Group

Our Social Skills Groups use evidence‑based ABA strategies to help children, teens, and adults build the skills they need to connect with others, manage emotions, and succeed at home, school, work, and in the community.

What We Teach

  • Communication & Conversation — greetings, asking/answering questions, topic maintenance, perspective‑taking
  • Friendship & Play/Leisure — joining play, cooperative games, shared interests, invitations, digital etiquette
  • Emotional Awareness & Regulation — identifying feelings, coping strategies, flexible thinking, problem‑solving
  • Executive Skills — planning, following group routines, self‑management, goal setting
  • Community Participation — safety, classroom/group rules, navigating common spaces, purchasing items, ordering food
