Meet The Team
Meet Adam Pakiela, M.Ed., BCBA
Adam Pakiela is the Co-Founder of FishHawk Behavior Management and a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has been helping individuals and families through Applied Behavior Analysis since 2006. Becoming a BCBA in 2016, Adam has worked across a wide range of settings—including homes, schools, clinics, and community programs—supporting clients from toddlers to adults. His extensive experience allows him to tailor interventions that are both compassionate and data-driven, ensuring each client receives care that is as effective as it is meaningful.
Adam’s passion for ABA lies in its ability to create lasting, measurable change. He believes that every behavior tells a story, and through careful analysis and creative problem-solving, individuals can gain the skills they need to live more independent, fulfilling lives. Adam emphasizes that the ultimate goal of ABA is to empower clients and families to the point where they no longer need services—a philosophy that drives his everyday work.
Known for his calm, approachable demeanor and practical approach to behavior management, Adam enjoys collaborating with families, teachers, and other professionals to build environments where clients can thrive. He finds joy in developing strategies that not only reduce challenging behaviors but also promote growth, confidence, and connection.
Originally from the Northeast, Adam brings a strong sense of discipline and perseverance to his work, values that also show up in his personal life. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys practicing and teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family exploring amusement parks and the outdoors.
